Expo Design

The design for each expo is a competitive process. Seniors submit individual designs and vote on the most successful one for marketing the event. Posters, postcards and social media ads are created with the chosen design. This semester, Kylie O’Hara's design won the competition.

Kylie O’Hara

I’m Kylie O’Hara and I’ve been a part of the Visual Communications: Art and Graphic Design Department at Farmingdale for the past 3.5 years. I’ve grown so much during my time spent in the Visual Communications program and have learned more than I could have imagined from my professors and classmates. Everyone I have encountered at FSC has had a major influence on my college career. I am beyond excited to take everything I have learned here at Farmingdale and use it to enter the workforce and begin the next steps in my life.

For this project, my inspiration came from patterns, colors fonts, and styles of designs from the 1960’s and 70’s. My intention was to make something funky and wanted to represent our class in a different way.
