Expo Design

The design for each expo is a competitive process. Seniors in both sections submit individual designs and both classes vote on the most successful one for marketing the event. Posters, postcards and social media ads are created with the chosen design. This year, Kevin Edward's design won the competition.

Kevin Edwards

My name is Kevin Edwards. I have been a part of the Visual Communication: Art and Graphic Design Department for four years. This program has impacted me as a student and as an individual. My amazing professors and the FSC staff have had a tremendous positive influence on my college career. I have grown as a designer in ways I never imagined possible. Taking all the knowledge and experience I have gained here at FSC, I am excited to enter the workforce and apply my skills to start my next chapter of this journey as a designer.

I have dreamed about representing the Senior Project Expo since I was a freshman. Every year I have walked through the halls viewing the posters with anticipation of the winning poster being my design. The time has finally come, and I am extremely honored that my poster will be representing the Visual Communication: Art and Graphic Design, Senior Class of 2021.

When approaching this project I was striving to think outside of the box. I chose to design in a style which utilized techniques that I have never incorporated into my past projects. I used the FSC colors to perfectly represent this expo.
